We are on for outside!!

Last week was a great opening and we are hoping the rain will be over for us to meet again outside tonight for Amy Gallitan. It may be raining now but that's ok - bring on the sun for later and we'll be set. Any changes will be posted but as of 10:00AM Monday morning our plan is to meet you down by the river!

See you on the 16th!!

We are almost ready to start the 2012 season & are so very excited about this year's line-up. There is a schedule change - The Jason Spooner Trio will be playing this week - they were invited to open for Jackson Browne on July 30th ( when they were previously scheduled to play for us) and The Riverside Band  graciously agreed to switch dates. So we look forward to The Jason Spooner Trio opening the season - grab your picnic dinner or plan on dining at The Gelston House & enjoy our first show - see you down by the river at 6:30!

Rain, rain go away!

A very big shout out to all of you who hung out Monday night & waited for the rain to stop. As always, it's a tough call on if we should re-schedule at the high school. We have heard you when you say it's not as fun and the turn out is definately poor if we go to the high school. However the music is always good and Eight to the Bar did not disappoint Monday night after the rain stopped! They got the green jumping and jiving!!

And thanks to those of you who did join us at the high school for Gunsmoke. Go to their website here to read about the gift of appreciattion the MOR committee presented to them and see a video clip of their performance.

This week please join us in welcoming local favorite Basically Blues to the green.

Start your sun dance now & we'll see you down on the river !!

Thanks for your support! Gunsmoke is next!

To the 100 or so of you who braved the storms :-0 and showed up at the high school auditorium Monday night - we thank you. Riverside did not disappoint! Those who were there enjoyed a great show of smooth, amazing music. Since this is a group of local guys, it was nice to have those of you come out and support them - even though the venue was not what any of us wanted.
So ... as it so happened the weather that was predicted did not materialize. However, the decision to change venues has to be made early in the day and at that time the local weather folks as well as national on-line weather resources were predicting thunder, lighting, rain and high winds. We start setting up the stage, tent & sound early in the day so even bad weather during the day can greatly affect our plans. We hate, hate, HATE to move from the green.
So enjoy the video below (iPhone quality video but hopefully you get the idea) and thanks again to Riverside for going on with the show.

This upcoming Monday enjoy the sounds of another local favorite, Gunsmoke. Come out and help us celebrate their 25 years of country music entertainment. And do your best anti-rain dance!
